When I came to Cambridge Place I knew that I was home, to be part of a company that puts doing the right thing above all else.
My career as a director in Assisted Living and Memory Care officially began 20 years ago, but my passion for the elderly and my desire to be an advocate for all those who cannot always speak for themselves began long before then.
By being able to help families, residents, and staff to develop a stronger understanding of the aging process and to navigate the daily struggles of all forms of dementia, I know I am making a positive impact on the lives of others.
Aside from my work family, I am blessed to share my life with my husband and 3 daughters. When I’m not working or with them you can find me running, enjoying the sunshine, or volunteering with animal rescues.

I have been in the nursing field since I was 17 years old. I first worked as a nursing assistant then finished nursing school at age 19. I have worked with the geriatric population for the last 12 years. I enjoy working closely with our residents and being someone they know they can depend on for any needs they may have.
I have lived in Cambridge my entire life. I am married with four children, one grandbaby and one on the way. I am excited to step into my new role as wellness director and look forward to getting to know and welcoming our new residents to our family at Cambridge Place.

I began my adult life attending Akron University while working as a teacher assistant in a preschool. I ended up teaching and directing preschool programs most of my adult life. This brought me much fulfillment. As a young adult I met my beautiful husband. He and I moved to a country home and began to build a mini farm. We spent our life together landscaping, raising sweet little animals, and restoring our home. By far, the most special and joyful part of my life began when we had our two children. Caring for my family, directing/teaching preschool, and living with my husband was wonderful. Time passed fast. I retired from preschool, my children grew into adults and it became time for a new adventure. I have been working at Cambridge Place as a Life Enrichment Coordinator since end of 2018. I find it very exciting to plan for each day making the life of every resident fun, eventful, warm and comforting. I love my adventures here and my relationships with the residents and coworkers.

My love for the residents is shown through my food. I put my heart into what I cook. To win someone’s heart can sometimes be done through their stomachs.
I’ve been here at Cambridge Place for two years now and have enjoyed every minute of it, from hearing stories, making friends and pleasing residents with my cooking!
