I am a transplant Idahoan. I was born in Tennessee and raised by my single mother who was a Nuclear Consultant. We traveled the majority of my childhood until coming to Idaho when I was just starting my freshman year in high school. I had a very diverse up bringing which introduced me to many different cultures and communities. My grandparent\u2019s home in Tennessee was one of my favorite places to visit while I was growing up. My close relationship with them is where I gained my respect and love for the geriatric community. When my grandparent\u2019s health began to decline, I moved my family to Tennessee to care for them. This introduced me to my first personal experience with Hospice. I gained such an appreciation for the nurses and caregivers who helped my grandparents that I decided to begin my wonderful adventure in healthcare.
